Tony has more than 30 years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry, most recently serving as CEO of Elevance and previously serving as a corporate officer of Albemarle, a premier specialty chemicals company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.
During his tenure at Albemarle, Tony was a corporate vice president, global sales and supply chain where he oversaw all aspects of the company’s global supply chain, including sales, procurement and logistics, as well as the global office sites. He also held several positions, including managing director, European and Middle East operations. Tony held a six-year assignment in Albemarle’s Brussels office where he led all aspects of the region, including manufacturing, research and development, and sales. Additionally, Tony was responsible for creating the company’s global sales and strategic account management organizations, and, as corporate vice president, polymer solutions, he was responsible for the company’s approximately $1 billion polymer additive operations.
Tony has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Mississippi State University. He recently served as a board representative on the Baton Rouge Arts Council and is currently a board member of Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge.
Robert is a Partner with Naxos UK and prior to joining Naxos, he was a Managing Director in charge of the London office of Allianz Capital Partners GmbH and instrumental in the development of its private equity, mezzanine and infrastructure activities. Prior to this, Robert was part of the founding team of Nikko Principal Investments Limited and was part of the original Nomura Principal Finance Group. Robert has an MBA from the London Business School, more than 15 years of private equity experience and has board level responsibility with several companies internationally.
Ms Wong Yee Fun was appointed as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Genting Berhad on 2 January 2018 prior to her appointment as the Chief Financial Officer of Genting Berhad on 1st January 2019. Prior to join Genting Berhad, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Maybank Islamic Berhad since 1 May 2016 and is responsible for formulating the finance strategies partnering with, and in support of Maybank Islamic Berhad’s business. She possesses a good breadth and depth of finance experience given her 20 years of experience with the Maybank Group. She has held various senior role covering finance, corporate finance, capital management, group corporate treasury, strategic planning, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and initiatives, and finance related projects which span across multiple lines of business within the Maybank Group. Additionally, she has had extensive hands-on experience in management and leading strategic initiatives.
She graduated with an Honours degree in Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Malaya. She is a member of CPA Australia, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a member of The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). She also obtained a Certificate in Islamic Banking & Finance Law awarded by the International Islamic University Malaysia.
Carole is the Founding Director of Naxos UK. A member of the bar of New York and of Paris, she has practiced law in the US and France, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Thereafter, she has spent fifteen years in various senior management roles in food and drinks and agricultural processing, including as Chairman of the Amylum Group and Vice Chairman and Director of Tate & Lyle. She also holds a number of independent board positions, including Aviva plc, Louis Delhaize, Eutelsat and Sanofi-Aventis.
Director Tan Kong Han was appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer of Genting Berhad in 2007. Genting Berhad is the holding company of the Genting Group, which has more than 58,000 employees, 4,500 hectares of prime resort land and about 133,000 hectares of plantation land. The Genting Group is one of Asia’s most dynamic conglomerates and is involved in leisure & hospitality, power generation, oil palm plantations, property development, biotechnology, and oil & gas business activities.
He was previously the Group Chief Operating Officer of Tanjong Public Limited Company, which is an investment holding company of a group of subsidiaries involved in Power Generation, Leisure and Property Investment. Tan Kong Han also has more than 13 years’ working experience in investment banking and is a qualified Barrister at Law, Lincoln’s Inn. He holds an MA from the University of Cambridge.
Karl brings leadership and diverse experience across the chemicals, renewable energy and related process industries, most recently serving as president and Chief Technology Officer of Elevance. He has been instrumental in unifying the technical and business development activities across the company.
Previously he was president and CEO of Accutest Laboratories; president, COO and CEO of InEnTec; and held several positions at AkzoNobel, including vice president and global SBU manager, general manager and global business manager in organometallic specialties, polymer chemicals and agriculture applications. During his 25-year career, Karl has also held executive leadership, management and R&D positions at Crompton, Witco, Amoco, Albemarle and Ethyl.
Karl earned both his B.S. and Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Virginia.
